The basic fitting philosophy for incursions is to have a buffer tank and as much DPS as possible. For repairs the fleets use logistic ships (Basilisk, Scimitar). Because of that NO ship should have ANY active/passive tanking modules (shield booster, boost amplifier, shield recharger). In the following are some basic guidelines for fitting a decent buffer tank:

all shield resists should be at least at 70% or more (80% is excellent)
depending on the signature radius and incursion site, the EHP should be at least 50k - 100k (see graph below)
fitting a Damage Control Unit II makes a great safety net (if you can't use one, start training for it)
for ships up to battlecruiser size, an afterburner can improve your tanking ability quite a bit

Mar 01, 2013 I am a newb at Eve and I have seen loadouts of the Osprey online with three Miner II and a missile launcher, whenever I try to load this it only allows me one Miner II, how do I get more turret hardpoints? I have Caldari Cruiser II trained as well as Electronics III, Im not sure if I need anything else. Any help would be appreciated.
